One World, One Dream, is the title of Wang Qingsong’s current solo show and also the name of a sculpture he just finished before the opening. He drew logos of the Fortune 500 companies and wrote down names of theworld’s leading universities on a gigantic blackboard in colorful chalk. The work (pictured below) makes the comment that with globalization, human society encounters more problems and contradictions, and so it’s difficult to realize “one dream”.
